Oh god. What can I even say? Definitely the most ambitious Zuchinn project yet.

A lot has happened since 2021. I came out to everyone as trans. That's like -- the big one. I've made many new beautiful friends and got closer to my old beautiful friends. Joined a band or two. Still figuring out who and what I am, but now that is a beautiful journey. I look forward to every single day that I am alive :]

Zuchinn V takes the Zuchinn project in a new direction: away from the acoustic guitar anomaly of IV and somewhat away from the one night takes of I, II, and (to a lesser extent) III. I like, tried. I made a visualizer; had a plan for what I wanted these tracks to be and made it happen. I am actually proud of these tracks and actually like them. I think that speaks a lot to the growth I've been making over the years. I worked on this album and am proud of it the same way I've worked on myself, am proud of myself, and -- dare I say -- even like myself :3

I want to thank all my friends who have supported me over the years with this project, who tell me they think it sounds cool even when I have my doubts, who have listened to WIPs, have given me ideas, and pushed me forward with this and every other project I've worked on. I love you all, you are the world to me, and more.

I hope you all like Zuchinn V. I'm hoping to put out more music in between V and VI. But also, don't hold me to that. I'm a busy girl.
